According to Chris Mortenson, via our friend at Examiner.com, Kevin McGuire, JBJ is in “confidential negotiations” to purchase a piece of the Atlanta Falcons. Apparently, Arthur Blanks is looking to sell minority shares of the team to fund a new stadium for the Falcons. Nothing really earth shattering here but I have to wonder, if both sides signed a confidentiality agreement about the negotiations, how do they know they are in talks? No one is allowed to talk.

Soul Schedule

I just got around to looking at the schedule. I know it’s been out for a while. I have to say, I’m glad I don’t have season tickets this year. This schedule is CRAZY. First, all the games are at night. There are no Sunday afternoon 1:00 games. And secondly, the last game is July 22nd. So if they go deep into the playoffs, they’ll be playing in August. What the hell?!?!?!?!!? Oh, and they do not have any home games until week 5.

AFL, either go back to 16 games or start sooner, preferably, both.
